Today students practiced using common denominators to put fractions in order. We did a mini-lesson reviewing how to find common denominators by using the largest denominator and running through the multiples until they find one that works for all denominators. Some students finished their practice in class and worked on a review of comparing, reducing and converting improper fractions into mixed numbers.
