We had our Mindfulness lesson during science today. Mrs. Marcus lead us through a discussion of what students have heard is "good" about the physical body and how that can make people feel if they don't have that image. She talked students through a "body scan" where they focused on the sensations that they felt. Mrs. Marcus then talked about feeling gratitude for what our bodies allow us to do instead of feeling guilt for not matching the perception of "good".
