We continued our work on saturation with a lab to saturate 50 ml of water with citric acid. Students found that it took a lot more citric acid to saturate the water than Kosher salt. Students reinforced their understanding of how to determine if a solution is saturated. Students used their vocab foldable to study for their quiz, taken today. Tomorrow groups will try to determine what a "mystery chemical" is by how much it takes to saturate 50 ml of water.
