We spent part of today's talking about the poor behavior choices that much of the class made while I had a sub yesterday afternoon. We talked about the importance of doing the right thing, being respectful and following the expectations that they know they are supposed to. Each student wrote a note to our sub.
The Arbour's class was shortened by a great discussion that spilled over from science but the Newtons were able to do about 20 minutes of IXL practice on skills relevant to the upcoming test (see list below). Tomorrow I am out. I will be attending a Naturalization Ceremony in my hometown, where my son will be singing with his chorus. I am excited to watch him be a part of such a special ceremony. Students will be taking the practice test on Unit 6, and will get the answers (see below) from the sub. This will serve as one tool to help students prepare for the test next week. IXL W 10, 11, 12 (Line Plots) I 2, 4, 8, 9 (Multiplying Decimals) J 1, 3, 4 (Dividing Decimals) EE14 (Volume)
