We reviewed benching marking fractions to the zero, half or whole to estimate sums and differences. We went over the homework from last night and answered student questions.
The bulk of our class was spent learning about and practicing how to convert between mixed numbers and improper fractions. Students started a worksheet assignment in class that they will finish for homework. Students are able to use a multiplication chart (there is one in their planners if needed) to help with the multiplication and division. HOMEWORK TONIGHT: FINISH WORKSHEET P 4-9 (PRACTICE)
