Today we worked with finding equivalent fractions and reducing fractions to lowest terms. We reviewed the need to multiply or divide both the numerator or denominator by the same number so that it kept the value the same. Students practiced finding the GCF before dividing as well as choosing any common factor and continuously dividing until the only common factor was 1. Students can practice IXL K3 and K4 for these skills.
