Students started working on modeling multiplication of fractions. While the "way" to solve these multiplication problems is really easy, understanding why numbers react the way that they do is critical in developing the number sense to be able to determine if an answer makes sense or not. We reviewed the work done with the sub and looked into further developing the models today.
